Towards the end of Term 4, the learners in my maths group were given a range  of maths problems which they needed to solve in order to find out who was the culprit in the ‘Cinema Mystery’.  The first clue required Shreya to find the word which matched the geometry-based meaning. These words were then found on the word search, leaving a word uncovered at the end. The second clue was uncovered after solving some number problems.  Some of these were challenging for Shreya and she would have needed to use a calculator to find or check her answer.
